Hotels in Trinidad and Tobago

I stayed at the Smart Hotel in Trinidad last week and had a fantastic experience. The place was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. My room had a large, soft bed, a small living area with a big TV, a bar fridge, and even a kitchen sink, perfect for light meal prep. The private bathroom was spotless, and I appreciated having a dedicated work desk to get some business done during my trip. The hotel also has a nice café area with free coffee and a relaxed seating space — a great spot to start the morning or wind down in the evening. Its location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of Port of Spain, within walking distance to restaurants on the Avenue and close enough to the city for meetings and errands. Loved my stay here and will definitely be back again on my next trip to Trinidad!

The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff was hospitable and friendly not forgetting how accomodating the service was; our room was spacious and clean and the food was good.

My sister and I fully enjoy our stay at the hotel. The room, the pool, the beach, the location, the employees and the owners of the hotel, everything was wonderful. We felt like home.

The convenience of where it’s located , the customer service was excellent, it was very clean and the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming.

I had an excellent stay for work in Trinidad at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. In my assessment, the hotel provides the best hospitality, service and care amongst all the hotels in town. I would like to specifically mention the elaborate complimentary breakfast and sumptuous meals at the restaurant. Similarly, the reception, housekeeping and travel desk provide exceptional and personalised service. I would particularly mention the top class assistance provided by Ms. Narisha and Mr. Sean.

The service was exellent and all my expectations were met. I would recommend anytime.

The room was spotless and well equipped. The pool was great as was the breakfast. Airport shuttle.

A very colonial boutique feel to the hotel. A proper getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The beach was easily accessible from the hotel and relatively private. You also have access to the pool and and there are enough deck chairs. The sound of the waves crashing upon the rocks and the lovely foliage and greenery was so relaxing. The food was excellent! Staff were always ready at hand to help out and were so friendly and approachable. A special thanks to Dennison for all his help. The owners would always ask about our stay and we felt really looked after. Taxis could be arranged upon request if needed. We also asked them to arrange kitesurfing for my son; and a manicure and pedicure for my mum. Thank you Candice for this. They also had a buffet and music on Sunday evening on the terrace under thr moonlight. Absolutely loved it. My family and I would definitely revisit and are already recommending the Blue Haven to others. Thank you for making our stay special.

The hotel in very nice. Room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great.

Meals were beyond expectations. We had all our breakfast and dinners at the hotel.

Exactly what we were looking for as nature lovers. No mosquitoes on the inside. Very quiet. It was cool despite no AC. Walking distance from the beach and river. Also saw baby leatherback sea turtles which was a highlight. Dinner was EXCELLENT and staff was accommodating to help return our camera that we forgot.

Staff and owners go out of their way to help. Nothing is too much of a problem. Food is amazingly good
