This was hands down the best place to stay in Zanzibar! I was looking for somewhere quiet to relax with amazing sunset views, and this spot couldn’t have been more perfect. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious, and the chef even taught me some Swahili! The staff were incredible: always friendly, attentive, and going out of their way to make sure everything was just right. It’s the little things that really stood out. On my last day, I had a late-night flight and was going to miss breakfast. Without me even asking, they packed one up for me to take on my trip. That kind of thoughtfulness says everything about how much they care for their guests. I’d 100% recommend this place and would come back in a heartbeat if I get the chance to visit Zanzibar again!

What truly stood out for me was the garden – it’s beautifully designed and adds a serene atmosphere to the property. However, the highlight of my stay was the staff. They are incredibly kind, polite, and always ready to help. Their warmth and hospitality made the experience even more special. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zanzibar. It’s a perfect blend of comfort, cleanliness, and exceptional service!

Babalao Bungalows has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Nungwi. Babalao bungalows is the perfect place to stay in Nungwi! Max the owner is the best host I’ve ever stayed with. He is so helpful with advice on where to eat and what to do and answered any questions we had about the island. All of the staff are excellent. The location couldn’t be closer with the beach just around the corner. Lovely breakfast and food at the pool bar, great facilities, such good value for money and I would recommend this as the perfect place to stay for families, couples or groups of friends! The food was amazing and plentiful. Huge choice for breakfast. Fresh juice. Dinner options with cold beer. Rooms, pool and property clean. The beach was stunning, with amazing sunrises. Staff ensured we had a relaxing stay, including Edina the Customer Relationship Manager, Edwin the Manager, Dora, cleaning staff and Lucy the great chef. They organise excursions and massages. Highly recommended if you want a more intimate great value holiday.

The location is perfect ! The bbq was super tasty, and Ahmet and his staff where there for everything you want 😊 Super friendly!

Located in Jambiani, 300 metres from Jambiani Beach, Zanzi Soul Luxury Boutique Hotel provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a private beach area. Loved the energy of the place, it is a tuktuk ride away from Paje which is the part of the island I prefer. The staff was super attentive and helpful. The room itself had the perfect video of the water. I totally recommend this spot, and when I asked for a late check out they agreed right away. There is a restaurant inside the hotel that has fresh food and a great breakfast!

Every angle was perfect. The pools very perfect, both for swimming and playing for kids. The bar and restaurant was good, service was very attentive.
