Hotels in Tanzania

First and foremost, I love the mission of the Lodge. The fact that they work towards improvement for the Maasai women in the area is amazing. Second, the people working at the Lodge are terrific. Susan, in particular, makes you feel at home with good conversations and nice home-cooked meals. Third, the facilities are perfect. Everything you need is ready at hand and you get the perfect combination of authentic experience and comfort. I stayed in the tents, which are great if you’re travelling on a budget. They are affordable and comfortable with nice mattresses, duvets and mosquito nets. You also have toilet and bathing facilities in connection with the tents. The traditional Maasai huts were unfortunately fully booked but Susan was kind enough to show me one before I left. These look absolutely amazing with cozy beds and private washroom. I’ll definitely have to try them out next time! One of the highlights of the stay was the motorcycle safari. We drove out in the bush in the afternoon and experienced the most amazing sights of giraffes, elephants and zebras. We were even lucky enough to have a giraffe visit us inside the Lodge area!

Amazing accommodation. Relaxing, friendly people, and outstanding breakfast. Unfortunately, I had a health incident, and Pia's (owner) husband took me to the clinic at 4 am. It felt like we were guests in our friend house rather than a hotel. The location is a couple km away from paje but there are board games and books there to spend your time and also a kayak to use. It has got plenty of hot water all the time and the beat water pressure we had in zanzibar. Very clean and good care taken of the facilities. We had a couple of gifts and a welcome glass of wine. Great experience overall ( I just couldn't enjoy it fully due to my incident) The food at the hotel restaurant was fresh and very tasty!!

The bungalows are located in a great location which is just around the corner from the beach. They offer a delicious breakfast and a good variety of food if you want to have dinner, like us, in the evening without having to leave the place. If you need any help to arrange things, the owners will take good care of you to make sure you have a great stay!

This place is incredible! Perfect for someone who needs to recharge the batteries and unwind the mind. I have to start with staff, Jackie did a great job with keeping our comfort and happiness at highest level. Everyone is smiling, and ready to fulfill all your wishes. The restaurant offers delicious food. Even if we’re not vegetarians, we couldn’t wait to try something new. Room is tidy with beautiful see view. The garden is spacious, with many hidden places to relax. The staff is able to book many activities/taxi for you. On top of everything the hotel accommodates the school for young girls from disadvantaged families and by booking your stay you can support their mission. Thank you Nicola and Gian Luigi for your hospitality. I can definitely recommend the resort!!

Our whole experience at this Resort was incredible, the whole staff, managers were very friendly, professional, met all our needs, i would specially want to give a special shout out to the manager Afshan, the whole crew, Issa, Denis, Neema, Anil, Elizabeth, Martin, Sophia, Ndende, Ishaq, Nasra, Mtumwa, Beatrice, Sarafina and lastly Mr Salum all you Guys are the REAL MVP, We will be Back for Sure with more Friends and Family sooner than you think, Please keep the Great Work and God Bless you all

Extremely friendly staff and good food

Upon arrival, we were immediately surprised by the unique location of this lodge, situated on the top of a cliff with a rich history. Amongst it’s endless beach and rich marine life, it also serves as the perfect spot to watch the sunset and find your inner peace. The rooms, restaurant & other facilities, clearly taking into account principles such as ecology and sustainability, contributed to this experience. Most of all, we would like to thank the owners and staff, who all give their best during our stay, a healthy mix between passion and giving chances to the local communities. Amazing place to relax, great hospitality, and a very comfortable large bed. Clean rooms, beautiful surroundings with local plants. Very nice pool and relaxing area. The restaurant serves really good food, not to mention breakfast, you get with the price of the room. Host Ahmet and Ersoy are very professional and friendly. They would go the extra mile to make your stay perfect. The best place to stay in Nungwi,with 2 minutes walk to the beach.

Lovely small property with very personal service, really great standard of accommodation, big room, great shower, nice pool, extremely accommodating staff. Excellent overall. Dive equipment is new and dive service also excellent.
