This place is a hidden gem in Dodoma. When I first booked it, I didn't expect the place to be this beautiful. Upon my check-in, all the staff and the manager, Mr Audax, were all so welcoming, and the hospitality was another level. Honestly, the calmness I felt here, I wanted to extend my stay. I will definitely book again. Thank you, Teranga team, you gave me a relaxing stay in my hectic life.

The staff were very polite and could not do enough. The room was spacious, bright and well equipped. The pool was clean and welcoming. Although the garden had not had time to establish, it was well maintained. The evening walk to the Terrance was relaxing with the beautiful sunset.

We loved our stay here. All the staff were lovely, the owners couldn’t do enough for you, the vibe was so relaxing and the breakfast was delicious! My hubby and I also had a massage at the spa and we both said that it was one of the best massages we’ve ever had. I highly recommend this place.

From the moment you step through the door, you are welcomed into a peaceful and very pleasant environment surrounded by greenery. The location is excellent; it’s only a 2-3 minute walk to the beach. The breakfast menu changes daily, and you can have it at any time you like. I think this is wonderful. The staff are very friendly. Mr. Alp helps with everything to make you feel at home, and I am very grateful to him. Being within walking distance of the beach and restaurants and in a safe area allows you to vacation alone comfortably. Hakuna Matata.

There is absolutely nothing to fault with Lemara from the moment Leepa collected us from Kisaki train station till moment we left everything was perfect. The staff are all truly wonderful and we now consider as friends, the game drive, walking safari and visit to the local farmers market with traditional farmers bbq were some of the highlights of what was a fantastic 4 days. The accommodation is extremely clean, comfortable along with the food cooked and served by chef is amazing. Will definitely go back for a longer stay next time.

Beautiful place where even small details are well considered. Owners Thomas and Malgo are extremely professional and ready to make your vacation wonderful. Their chef/cook is making wonderful dishes that beats easily the food at The Rock restaurant. Their masseur at SPA is really good!

We loved Hekaya resort. The location is unique, facing the ocean with incredible panoramic views to see the sunrise, but being a small resort you have a special tranquility and intimacy. We traveled as a family with two small children and at all times we felt super comfortable. Rooms and the whole resort are super clean. The staff make us feel at home and they helped us with everything we needed with their best availability. Thanks to Godfrey and Jackline for their kindness. As well as Diswa, Mohamed, John and all the staff who made us feel at paradise at all time. We also miss little Luna, the cat. We'd love to come back to Hekaya in paradise in the future

We spent 9 magical nights at the place and it was amazing.african bungalows is more than a hotel ,it's a family place where the staff and the owners really take care of you.from the moment we booked we were kept in constant contact / communication with the owners about whether we required shuttle from and back to the airport which we accepted.they also advised about all the activities we could do.upon arrival we realized we were in heaven with the beautiful palm trees and stunning pool.we met the turkish owners who are brothers and Mai who checked us in easily.the hotel has its own restaurant and the food is divine.they also have nightly events and dinners. Really enjoyed the BBQ dinners.the rooms are big with fridge , showers , hair dryer for the ladies , daily shampoo and soaps.tea /coffee and drinking water is complimentary daily. We enjoyed the daily breakfasts as well.the place is literally a minute walk to the main nungwi beach and about 20 minutes walk to kendwa beach. There are many places to swim. It is very safe during the day and at night to walk about with many restaurants situated around it. Mai arranged one of the dolphin tours to mnemba Island which we enjoyed and came with us as well. The tumbatu Island is also close for snorkelling with boat.we also did the nakupenda , prison island and stone town tour. The nungwi turtle sanctuary is about a ten minute walk.we enjoyed swimming with the dolphins and turtles. This is a new hotel and it catered to our every needs. All the staff were friendly and we really enjoyed our stay here.we will definitely be back. We are missing the crystal clear turqoise waters now.also missing those 2 cute cats.

This is a beautiful, quiet place to stay. So close to a delightful beach and Aliya was very kind to allow a late checkout. The villa and the pool are perfect.

*A Peaceful Paradise with Purpose* Palmera Zanzibar is a serene oasis just outside a charming village. I loved the peaceful garden, the spotless infinity pool, and the magical ocean views—especially at sunset. The food was creative, delicious, and all homemade (including fresh breads and cakes!). My room was beautifully decorated, with a comfy bed, sea view, and solar-powered AC—much appreciated in the heat! What makes Palmera truly special is its mission: it’s part of the More Than A Drop Hospitality College, training underprivileged girls for careers in hospitality. The staff and students were incredibly kind, attentive, and made me feel safe and welcome. Highly recommended—for both the experience and the amazing cause behind it.
