Just a lovely hotel. Super comfortable room and a lovely lounge with a roaring log stove that was very welcome in mid-winter! Delicious breakfast with homemade yogurt. Will definitely be back and look forward to seeing it in summer. And a special mention for Sofia who is simply brilliant!

It stood out as one of the best meals I had during my three-month journey in Uruguay. It's just a 10-minute drive to Colonia del Sacramento making it conveniently accessible while still offering a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. . In conclusion, Caliu Earthship Ecolodge is a one-of-a-kind accommodation that I highly recommend to anyone visiting Colonia del Sacramento.

It is a great place. very safe and most secured area in Montevideo. the owner an englishman Mr. Mark and his beautiful wife Carolina very friendly and helpful . you feel like home when you are there. spcaious rooms.closer to the beach. Great breakfast and on Thursdays great dinner with an external chef . Hospitality is the real name to the this hotel staff.The beach is just a stone throw away. supermarkets and cafe very close-by

A big surprise in the hinterland of José Ignacio. When booking, I was unsure whether the minimalist architecture might be too sterile, but it wasn't. With only eight very spacious rooms, a very exclusive affair - there was only one other guest there with us. Nevertheless, there is the full hotel operation with a really exceptionally well-trained and friendly staff and a service that responds within seconds. Actually, it seems more like a private home that has been opened to allow a few guests to enjoy this place. Wonderful!

Very nice new hotel in green surrounding. Modern architecture, roof terrace with splendid panorama (and sea-view). Beautiful 2 room appartment with well accomodated kitchen (we took breakfast and lunch in the appartment). Terrific swimming pool. Beach nearby. Goot restaurants nearby.
