The whole experience was magical, and one we will remember for the rest of our lives. We were blown away by the efforts made by Danielle in hosting us, from the amazing home cooked food in such a beautiful setting to making sure we had clean rooms, new towels, and made beds to return to every morning. As for the safari, it is difficult to find the words to describe how amazing this was. We really appreciated JP sharing his experiences and knowledge of the animals and his patience in answering our many questions. There is nothing like seeing an elephant with its baby walk right past you or a lion so full after a kill that it can barely move. In the end, we saw zebras, giraffes, rhinos, hippos, impala, rare wild dogs, and many other animals and birds. We already miss our coffee by the river as the sun comes up...it was perfect in every way.

Wonderful quiet and unique treetop location. The rooms are fabulous and service excellent. Food was exceptional too.

I don't usually write reviews as I work for one of the largest travel, leisure and hotel groups in the world, but this stay was so exceptional that I must. From attentive, friendly staff that would always go above and beyond, through to a beautiful location and thoughtfully appointed rooms. I would highly reccomend this as a place to escape and relax. If you like high quality, this is definitely the place to be.

One of the best hotels we stayed in South Africa. Wonderful place, beautiful territory, warm stuff, tasty food, hot tube (!) near the water, stunning view and no people. Hotel was fully booked but we saw almost no other guests. Even in winter it was warm in the room. Room is fully equipped. You will find everything you need. We fully relaxed here. Room was cleaned twice a day. Welcome snacks and drinks in the room were very tasty. You feel like they waited for you, like you are really welcome here. I can recommend this lovely place to everyone, you won't regret.

We had the pleasure of staying at a truly stunning property. The attention to detail throughout the space was out of this world, with every corner thoughtfully designed. The décor in the rooms is absolutely breathtaking, creating such a warm and stylish atmosphere. To top it off, the host was incredibly warm and welcoming, which made our stay feel even more special. Highly recommended!

Some locals first reaction is that the location is slightly unusual for Paarl, so we didn’t know what to expect. But the surrounding grounds and views of the mountains are STUNNING The white painted old buildings are beautiful, and the food superb Would highly recommend A real gem
