The whole experience was magical, and one we will remember for the rest of our lives. We were blown away by the efforts made by Danielle in hosting us, from the amazing home cooked food in such a beautiful setting to making sure we had clean rooms, new towels, and made beds to return to every morning. As for the safari, it is difficult to find the words to describe how amazing this was. We really appreciated JP sharing his experiences and knowledge of the animals and his patience in answering our many questions. There is nothing like seeing an elephant with its baby walk right past you or a lion so full after a kill that it can barely move. In the end, we saw zebras, giraffes, rhinos, hippos, impala, rare wild dogs, and many other animals and birds. We already miss our coffee by the river as the sun comes up...it was perfect in every way.

We spent 2 nights in Motswari Private Game Reserve and it was an unforgettable experience! Wonderful food, service, exclusivity and personal attention. Our ranger, Marius was exceptional and made every game drive and our walking safari unforgettable. His trackers, Elvis and Misha was just as amazing with their knowledge of the animals and the bush. We saw 3 of the 5 "big five" in just 1.5 days of being there, thanks to these guys. The food and service at the lodge was beyond our expectations in every way. I was a vegetarian and they catered for me with exceptional skill and charm. The food was really outstanding, thank you Glenda and team! Our other hosts, Desmond and MJ looked after every detail and made our stay wonderful. Our room was large, luxurious and comfortable. We each had a great massage too (thank you Lerato), in a space where you can watch giraffes walk by... The setting of this private lodge is amazing, you overlook a river with giraffes and elephants walking by. We even had a hyena come close to us while sitting around the camp fire - so special. This was a once in a life time experience and we hope to be back again soon!

Beautiful house in a strategic area. Nice pool, wonderful breakfast. The staff is amazing and extremely helpful. Attention to any detail as if it was a 5 star hotel. We really liked it and wish to go back soon.

A stunning location. To enjoy the Thatch House, the location and surrounding area you’ll need to stay for 3 nights. I wish we had!!

When the weather allowed, we had breakfast outside. The beautiful gardens against the backdrop of the mountains made it even more special. The buffet left nothing to be desired. And the staff were very friendly -- when we left, we felt like famlily.

All staff very accommodating and friendly. Beautiful suite with balcony and a full view of the bay. Comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast in a beautiful setting. We travelled for one month and this was our favorite accommodation.
