Very old building but beautifully done up with interesting objects d’art. Breakfast was excellent quality , attention to detail, generous and quite a lot of choice. Yogurt and cheese particularly welcome. The hosts were very friendly and recommended wonderful restaurants!

INCREDIBLY hospitable hosts! They invited us personally to a celebration of the new chimney, it was so quaint and homely. The style of the house is old, but there were so many little details that were nice. The furniture seemed all more antique, solid wooden breakfast bench - the breakfast was most if not all sourced locally (also from the back garden, with homemade jam and fruits). We were able to stay with our dog (who was welcome to go to the back garden, which looks like it is amazing to sit outside in the spring/summer... we stayed around Christmas), the host's cocker spaniel was cautiously friendly with our dog, the cat wasn't a huge fan. We would definitely love to stay here again during a different season!

Staff were really really nice and very helpful. We had a delay and were going to be late and they sent us all information to check in and left us the keys inside our room. Breakfast was good and the location of the property is really good.

Everything! Well located, 15 minutes walk to the old center of Saintes, very quiet. The room we had was in the hosts' house who were very friendly and welcoming. Comfortable bed, very tastefully decorated room/house and great home made breakfast. Don't hesitate to book there!
