The hotel is in an amazing location. The rooms are spacious. However, they do require some general TLC/better quality repairs (for example, the sink had clearly been broken in half and repaired), but overall, the room was clean and in great condition. To us, the staff is the real highlight of the hotel. They were sweet and extremely polite when we checked in for example. Also, we had mentioned that it was a trip for our 10-year anniversary, and about an hour or so after going up to our room, we were surprisingly greeted with room service (which we hadn’t ordered) - a lovely cake, macaroons, and a bottle of prosecco to celebrate our anniversary! It was completely unexpected! We also noticed that when we used the teas in the room (we used a particular flavour), the following day, they would make sure to include more of the flavour we were using! The attention to detail is to be appreciated! The breakfast was also very good. All in all, great hotel – with amazing staff.
