Breakfast was excellent, hotel was convenient and clean. Margaret in the bar was an absolute gem she really made us feel special and little Max loved her, thank you Margaret

It was everything we dreamed of.

The location although set up on the hill overlooking Paleochora was only 5 mins walk to village. which i loved every morning. We booked late so had a side sea view

We received a really warm reception from Georgia who along with Georgia no.2 made our stay so enjoyable. Our apartment with hot tub in the original part of the Retreat was amazing with views out across the white mountains...breakfast in the new building was really well done and an off site taverna just up the hill was fantastic. My wife and I travelled with our two dogs 🐕 and stayed for three nights. The Retreat is only about a ten minute drive down into Sougia with its long wide pebble beach ⛱️ with views out across the Libyan Sea....the village itself has an ATM mini market and a few traditional Cretan tavernas. On our last day we were leaving by boat and I had forgotten my WiFi device....ten minutes later Georgia had arranged for it to be delivered to the port....a really special place with special people ❤️...we loved it !
