Staff: Very kind, efficient and help us in every situation Localization: the apartment is close to the main attractions in Colombo by foot or tuck-tuck. The apartment is also closed to supermarkets, restaurants and shops Rooms: Very large with comfortable beds Kitchen: A large kitchen, well equipped with almost utensils to cook meals. It has a washing machine that help us very much. Some kitchen cleaning products were provided. Bathrooms - large, with hot, powerful showers. Small toiletries (shower gel and soap) were provided. Wifi: Very Good

Nice to stay, unique experience in Colombo

I mixed up my dates and had to amend my booking late notice… I arrived at 6am sleepy after a long trip.., I cannot thank Paul enough for helping me sort everything and he also provided a waiting room that I could shower and rest in… When I got my room it had an amazing view and very confortable bed! Breakfast was vast and it would’ve been impossible not to find something to your taste! I would defo stay here again!

The breakfast buffet was amazing; Sri Lankan, European and American specialties, fresh fruit and the best pastries I’ve had outside of Denmark!

Beautiful place to start or end your journey in Sri Lanka. We didn't want to stay in the city since our trip to the country is a short one but we're now planning to go back to Colombo earlier and stay here a few days longer. It's in a very easy to access part of the city. You can walk and find so many restaurants/cafes/markets as you like. Easy to find transportation to go anywhere as well. The place itself is beautifully designed, well maintained and clean. The pool area is very nice, there is a small area for gym purposes as well, which is a smart design element. The rooms are spacious, clean and beautiful. Beds are comfy and the bathroom is just appealing to the eye. Overall a very well designed and maintained place. The experience of staying here is well worth it.

It’s difficult to pinpoint just one thing that made my stay exceptional, which, in my opinion, is a sure sign that the Hilton Colombo has the right balance across the board. Check in was seamless, my room was 1615, I was graciously upgraded, so my humble thanks to reception for this. The room itself was spacious, with a fantastic, huge, and super-comfy bed. The TV had English channels (a definite plus!),the view was fabulous. Plenty of complimentary water, a fresh fruit bowl was delivered shortly after I arrived. The room also had an iron and board, and for the first time ever in my travels, I noticed oxygen face masks provided in case of fire. Bonus points to Hilton for that thoughtful health and safety measure. But what truly made my stay so special was the staff. I have genuinely never stayed at a hotel where the team was this warm, professional, and kind. I have to mention a few people by name because they absolutely deserve it. Dinesh in the lounge, I take my hat off to this man. With over 30 years at Hilton, he embodies the very best of hospitality. He couldn’t do enough for me. During one of our chats, I remembered it was my birthday (which I had genuinely forgotten myself due to travel and timezones!). Unbeknownst to me, Dinesh contacted the Duty Manager, Mr. Dinindra, and the Guest Relations Manager, Ms. Zainab. Within ten minutes, both managers, along with Dinesh and the lovely Kiara, appeared at my table singing “Happy Birthday” and presenting me with an incredible cake. It was such a touching moment. I often see guests treat hotel staff poorly, as if they’re beneath them. My advice, engage with the staff genuinely, without attitude or pretence. When you connect on a human level, the service you receive will exceed every expectation. My experience here is proof of that. Who really cares what the price of a coffee of beer costs in the hotel, honestly it doesnt matter. You simply cant put a price on this level of warmth, kindness and professionalism.

We spent our last day and night at Wallawwa. It was an overall luxury and perfect to unwind after our travels. They have complimentary tea time and a happy hour, the pool area is gorgeous, everyone was helpful and kind. I wished we stayed for another night, it was a peaceful bliss!
