The location is great. Only 10 minutes walk to Galle Face Complex. The internal design of the building refelects an l image from the space. The gardens are very nice. We stayed here on the last night of our trip and it couldn't have been a better way to end the holiday. The hotel was absolutely gorgeous, the food was delicious (beautifully runny poached eggs at breakfast) and the service was fantastic. Wish we'd had more than one night!

Nice decent size room with a swimming pool right in front of the lake and the view of the Lotus tower. My main highlights were the breakfast and dinner. The wide variety and selection was out of this world and you get to try different cuisines as well. By far, the best restaurant I've been to in a hotel. Breakfast has a variety of European and Asian selections which was a nice touch. Also, it's location in downtown Colombo is great which is just a few minutes drive to the shopping mall and the Lotus Tower.
