A good spot in a very buissy beach town. There is a parking lot, in the right corner one doesn't see easily before check in which was a bit of a hassle because there was nothing free in front of the hotel to just hop in and get the card, but once you are checked in, there's everything available.

The best place we stayed in the Algarve, it exceeded our expectations by far. One of the calmest and most easy going hotel experiences we have ever had. Even though fully booked, there was so much space and calmness to find in the building. Fantastic location to walk to all main attractions of Tavira. The pool area was an oasis in the middle of the town. Fantastic breakfast, with fresh regional products and specialties. Very good and friendly service from the staff and the most amazing setting to eat inside the courtyard of the old monastery.

Absolutely LOVED this hotel. Scared to tell everyone how much we loved it in case its not available for our next visit! Its a beautifully renovated traditional building in a quiet street but less than 5 minutes walk into the centre of Tavira . Andy and Sangita were super helpful. Our flight was delayed so we arrived at 1am and Sangita was there to meet us. We had no plans in Tavira so we followed Andy's recommendations and had a great time. Definitely get the breakfast on the rooftop as its delicious food in a beautiful setting and great value. When going to the beach on Tavira island, walk past the salt flats to the smaller ferry at Quatro Aguas and get a good look at the flamingoes on the way.

Where can I start? Every single aspect of our stay had been carefully thought about - from the lovely bed linen, to the double shower in our large bathroom, to the enormous fresh and tasty breakfast in the sunshine outside. We came off the back of reviews and want to add ours in to thank the staff at Tavira house for giving us the most perfect stay in the village. It’s central location and quiet street also make it super accessible to all the city centre and train station direct to faro. We have already suggested to our friends to stay here, and would like to thank the team again for making us feel like family !

It was very comfortable, luxurious and Miguel - the host - amazing. Miguel is open for every needs of his guests, very friendly and helpful. The staff is quiet and polite. But the garden with the pool - this is magnificent. The area is still and undisturbed. I recommend it from the bottom of my ♥️
