Mark gave us a lot of tips and where to eat and made sure that we have everything. They also have a very adorable dog 🐶 The room is very cosy and not to mention the view is phenomenal. The breakfast is limited however there is everything. The train station is only 7min away and 3 stops from Hallstat. We hope we get to stay here again in the future ❣️

First of all, the owners Nicky and Mark are amazing, so welcoming and will do everything they can to make you feel at home and part of their family. They run the most lovely and relaxing place in an awesome location if you like some quiet time. You are at the edge of town almost inside the forest and with an incredible view of the snowy mountains surrounding you. The breakfast is very good and has everything you would expect. The room was amazing, so neatly organized and clean and we could see the attention that was given to the room in every little detail. The bed is super comfy and the shower is huge. Really amazing value for money ( I think that they should charge more for the room hahaha). We trully fell in love with Nicky and Mark and we cant wait to come back

Located right on the shore on Lake Wolfgang, Hotel & Gasthof Fürberg is 3.5 km, approximately a 45-minutes walk, from the centre of St. Gilgen. It offers a private beach and a free bicycle and boat rental. I liked everything! The location is amazing, secluded and calm but also has everything you need like food at the restaurant or 5 minutes away by car at any supermarket. I would definitely come again. Friends' groups, however, shall watch out for the showering situation 😂 it is more like a romantic getaway 😉 but I still had lots of fun with my friend there. Ah the Seilbahn is 5 minutes away aaand Hallstaat is about an hour, although I don't recommend leaving the heaven of this place and going to the touristic horror of Hallstaat.

Hotel Garni Anzengruber is located near the centre of St. Wolfgang in the Salzkammergut, 100 metres from the famous Weißes Rössl and the beautiful pilgrimage church. The hotel is beautifully and centrally located with a view over Wolfgangsee. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The host is very welcoming and gave us great suggestions for activities. We really liked the atmosphere at the hotel too — it felt very homely and personal, unlike big chain hotels. We also really enjoyed the private lakeside garden, which was a perfect spot for sunbathing and taking a refreshing dip in the lake.

Perfect lake getaway. Lawn and deck in the back gave excellent access to the lake. Lovely dining and lounging options, breakfast was a dream. Staff was personable and ever-present to refresh drinks as needed. Looking forward to coming back.

This traditional, family-run hotel enjoys a quiet but central location, offering guests high-quality, comfortable accommodation in the pretty town of St. Gilgen, 300 metres from the shores of the Wolfgangsee lake. The room was quite big with a nice balcony with beautiful flowers and nice view. Staff is very friendly and breakfast was ok .

This individually designed countryside hotel offers 4-star comfort and features a private bathing place and a lakeside garden. There is also a sun terrace with a hot tub, a sauna and a relaxation room. Excellent Hotel - Great Food, Great Location and very clean upgraded facilities with a great staff. The hotel is right by the water and exceeded our expectations !

Free WiFi, an indoor swimming pool, a steam bath, and a sauna is provided at Dormio Resort Obertraun, 300 metres from the shore of Lake Hallstatt. You can dine in the on-site restaurant and sunbathe on the terrace which provides lake views. We stayed at this beautiful resort for 2 nights and booked a house for 4 people. To our surprise, the house was even better than expected — it had 3 spacious bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a large kitchen, and a comfortable living room. The resort is set by a stunning lake, and there's a ferry that takes you directly to Hallstatt. Don’t miss this opportunity — the views on the way to Hallstatt are absolutely breathtaking. The staff were very helpful and supportive throughout our stay. Highly recommended!
