The hosts are amazing people, breakfast is great, view from the room is so incredible that it was simply difficult to leave the room, location at perfect walking distance from the station, nice food places within walking distance, spotless clean, cozy, homely, spacious, perfect for couples or solo travellers if you want to get away from a busy city.

You can dine in the on-site restaurant and sunbathe on the terrace which provides lake views. Excellent location and hotels own territory. Chalet was very warm and cozy and comfortable. Swimming pool is great, views unbelievable. Our family totally loved the stay here.

Family-run for 150 years and renovated in 2014, Seewirt Zauner is situated right on the historic market square in Hallstatt’s car-free centre and 150 metres from the waterfront at Lake Hallstatt. All rooms offer lake or mountain views. I loved EVERYTHING about this hotel. It was so clean and the staff was just the best. The hotel is located 2-3 min from the Boat station (to the train station). The bathroom is exceptional, the restaurant is very good and overall the best hotel in Hallstatt!

I'm in love with the design of the hotel, most of the space is crafted with natural wood, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that perfectly captures the charm of the Austrian Alps. It feels both rustic and elegant — a true escape into nature with all the comfort of a thoughtfully designed stay.

The Moserwirt features a rustic bar serving different cocktails and Austrian beer. The restaurant offers a delicious breakfast with a 4 course menu in the evening for hotel guests. Absolutely fabulous hotel like from fairytales. Very close to bus and train station. Owners taking care of every detail, so that quests can feel pleasant and comfortable like at home. Large spotless room with nice design, great personalised breakfast prepared taking into account every guest preferences. Hotel has sauna, spa area and the pool. Thank you for making me feel like at home. I will definitely return to this place.

Apartment Hotel Seerose offers rooms and apartments in Obertraun in the heart of the Salzkammergut Region, a 1-minute walk from the shore of Lake Hallstatt and only 3 km away from the UNESCO-listed town of Hallstatt. It's a perfect place to stay for a couple of nights or weekends! 2 minutes walk from the train station, bus station and a lake! Great view from the balcony. Very kind personal- manager kindly provided us with the kettle.
