The 4-star By The Sea Resort is located in the centre of Port Douglas, next to Four Mile Beach and just a 2-minute walk from the restaurants along Macrossan Street. All apartments come with full kitchen facilities and many also have sea views. We loved everything about our stay! We were blown away by the supply of items for guests to use during their stay. From board games/dvds, to beach gear, bicycles, bbqs, coolers etc. we had a fantastic time with more than we could ever need. We could walk to 4 mile beach in less than 1 minute, and we were surrounded by countless restaurants/cafes/shops on the other side.

These boutique timber bungalows offer ocean, mountain or forest views. Guests can relax on their private balcony and enjoy the native birds and wildlife. All rooms are air-conditioned and offer a bathtub, a refrigerator, and a minibar. Wow! I read some negative views and shortened my stay based upon they. I regret that. This was such a beautiful place. Waking up in the morning to the sounds of tropical birds was so relaxing. The staff were over the top with their hospitality. I cannot recommend this place more. Do not read the negative reviews. They are simply inaccurate. One was about walking around at night which we enjoyed as it is so beautiful however the staff is always circling in a cart to drive guests around if they do not want to walk.

Our property features shared female and male dorms with private bathrooms and private rooms with ensuite bathrooms and an outdoor patio. Host was super kind and available, had a blast there! Pools are brilliant!

Most also have lovely mountain, pool or garden views. It was great being in the centre of town. The pool was lovely and warm. The room was comfortable and well equipped

All studios offer free high speed WiFi and guests can enjoy free undercover parking. I loved this place! Super comfortable room, everything was so clean, air con and wifi worked really well. Pool was lovely! The staff were so accomodating and friendly. I had such a wonderful stay, wish I could've stayed longer!

Adults only Resort Just 500 metres from Four Mile Beach, the award-winning Pink Flamingo resort features a poolside bar and an outdoor fitness centre. Each studio and villa has a private patio with outdoor seating. The room was very large and had a beautiful outdoor shower as well as indoor shower. Nice private sitting areas outside room. Communal pool was also lovely. Clean and just the right temp for the humid weather in Port Douglas. Just a cute place to stay.
