Located on the Great Ocean Road, Apollo Bay Waterfront Motor Inn is a 15-minute drive from Great Otway National Park. The famous Twelve Apostles are a 1-hour drive away. Local shops, cafes and restaurants and the visitor information centre are within walking distance. Quick and friendly check-in and a nice clean room with balcony and view to the ocean - we loved that. It was a bit too cold to sit outside, but with the bug screen we were able to enjoy some fresh ocean air inside the room. The room is big, nice bathroom and a fridge to store wine or beer. Beds were comfy and we slept quite well. The location is nice - walking distance to the restaurants - we of course opted for the southern-most pub on Australia's main-land (at least that's what they claim).

Portside Motel offers fully air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. It is 250 metres from Port Campbell town centre. Each room has a private verandah with access to the peaceful gardens. The room was very clean, and bigger than I expected! I liked how everything was provided for, especially the kitchen utensils (cups, plates, cutlery, dishwashing liquid etc...) which made things so convenient for us. Check in and check out was easy as well. Fuss free. I liked the mini bar provided with cookies and chocolate.

Seacombe House Motor Inn Port Fairy is 5 minutes from the historic Port Fairy Wharf and 10 minutes from the area's beaches. You will find local shops, boutiques, cafes and restaurants on your doorstep. Amazing property right in the centre of quaint little town. Christine the manager was superb and offered us upgrade and took good care during the entire stay.

We traveled with bikes, and concierge was able to store them in a room off the lobby, where the bikes were tagged and secure. The location was fabulous, along the riverbank of Melbourne with a great vibe, with lots of restaurants and shops and close to everything. We walked to a terrific footy game at the nearby stadium! The room was beautifully decorated, immaculate, quiet, spacious and comfortable.
