Built in the 1890s, this historic hotel was one of the first hotels in Lauterbrunnen. The family-run Hotel Staubbach offers panoramic views of the Staubbach Falls and Lauterbrunnen Valley. It is located 600 metres from the Lauterbrunnen station and offers free parking and free Wi-Fi. This is my second stay at this hotel, 10 years after my first visit. The hotel has become more professional in its services, and the staff are very friendly. The location is excellent, offering iconic views of Lauterbrunnen from the balcony. You can also walk directly to nearby trekking areas.

The Swiss-style rooms are pleasantly and comfortably furnished. Most rooms also offer spectacular views of the mountains and the Lauterbrunnen Valley. My husband and I stayed on the top floor of this hotel for 6 glorious nights. The staff were all top notch. We have zero complaints. Our time in Murren and the surrounding Berner Oberland will be one of our favorite memories for the rest of our lives. The views from the room, and everywhere else you go, is like a picture postcard. If we are ever lucky enough to return, we would stay at the Alpina without question. Roger was particularly terrific!

Cosy and relaxed Eiger Guesthouse is located opposite the BLM train station in Mürren, with a splendid view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau Mountains.

All rooms are accessible with a lift or spiral stair. All rooms are equiped with TV, free wifi and with a hairdryer. The staff was really nice and friendly! Also, the rooms were really clean and with amazing views!! It was probably the best place we stayed in the entire trip!! Definitely coming back!

Hirschen is situated in a 17th century landmark building located in Interlaken. This hotel features a garden and free WiFi throughout the property.

All rooms feature air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, radio and a desk. All rooms have a private bathroom. The garden terrace provides a splendid view of the famed Mount Virgin. Very nice room, the staff very polite and helpfull. Really excellent breackfast. There's a very good restaurant on the ground floor. That's a very good hotel to stay in Interlaken and see all the Jungfrau Region.

Situated right above Lake Brienz, the Hotel Brienzersee (Garni) offers superb views from the rooms and from the lakeside terrace, the Brienzersee hotel is only a 5-minute drive away from the centre of Interlaken. The facilities are well maintained, the room was very clean, the bed is comfortable and the staff is patient and helpful with everything you need!

Featuring a restaurant, Restaurant & Hotel Schlossberg is located in Thun. Guests can enjoy a small wellness area including a sauna, steam bath, hot tub and some loungers on site. Free WiFi access is provided in public areas. We stayed in the guard tower room, which is a bit different from most of the rooms in the hotel. It's right above the castle gate, with windows on 3 sides, but since the walls are 70cm thick and made of stone, it's very well insulated from noise. The conveniences/electrical system were slightly constrained by the fact that we were surrounded by thick stone, but they nonethless did a great job of making a beautiful, comfortable, and engagingly quirky room. Breakfast was also exceptional, with some of the best bread and pastry I've had in Switzerland.

Hotel Schönegg is a 3-star superior hotel located right in the centre of car-free Wengen, which is only reachable by train. Some rooms have a mountain-view balcony and the hotel features an award-winning restaurant which serves a variety of quality cuisine using fresh local products. The location is perfect, it feels like it's at the end of the main street. The view from the balcony is gorgeous. The breakfast has many types of local cheeses. I arrived at 8pm but I had the key ready with a welcome message and instructions. I liked that the room had a painting of the old train station and the hallway had 19th century furniture! And old pictures of Wengen in the hallways. Snacks and drinks in the lobby. I liked that I received a mini Gipfelwiiss in the room, which is a chocolate bar in the shape of the 4 snow-capped peaks (Eiger, Mönch, Jungfrau and Silberhorn) and is produced in Wengen at the Vincenz Bäckerei - Konditorei on the main street.

All of the modern rooms at this design hotel have cable TV. Some of the rooms have picturesque views of Engelhorn peaks and the Rosenlaui glacier.

Victoria - Alpine Boutique Hotel & Fine Diningis a 5-minute walk from the Sherlock Holmes Museum. The Reichenbach Falls are a 10-minute drive from the hotel. The city of Bern is just over an hour away by car. The attention to detail was remarkable—everything was just right. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the bathroom spotless, and the overall experience was refined without being over the top. We absolutely loved our stay!

Built in 1881, the family-run Hotel Alpenrose is the oldest hotel in the car-free Wengen, which is only reachable by train, and offers you completely renovated rooms in a traditional Alpine style and free WiFi. Shuttle service for train station upon arrival and when going out in the mornings. Convenient base for skiing. Friendly staff, clean and cozy place. Wonderful view. Breakfast and dinner had good variety, huge selection of cheeses, able to cater to certain dietary requests. Heating rack in bathroom was very useful. Comfortable bed and comforter. Room was a little small however, so we could not lay out our luggage.
