The Hotel&Hostel Montarina occupies a historic Villa built around 1860, only 200 metres from the Lugano train station. It offers a park with a pool, free WiFi and a limited number of free parking spaces. The room location and facilities were exceptional. I have to add that I booked a single room and therefore was moved to the neighboring Continental Park Hotel. So just something to take into account.

Superb breakfast Hotel staff very courteous and helpful. Automatic shoe cleaner in the 1st floor, helping a lot to give that finishing touch before I went to a symposium. This way, I could do all my activitives knowing without need to worry anything regarding the hotel.
