Everything was perfect. It is located in a quiet little square, close to all the points of interest in Providencia, a 10 min walk from the Los Leones metro station. The cleanliness is impeccable, there is a 24 hour reception desk, the gate is locked all the time giving a feeling of security. The apartment is spacious, with a comfortable bed, a friendly living room and a balcony overlooking the mountains. The staff and the manager Luciano are all professional, friendly and gave me support in everything I needed. If I return to santiago I will definitely make the same choice for accommodation.

Just 100 meters from Baquedano Metro Station, Hostal Río Amazonas offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and TV sets. This hostel was one of the best hostels we have stayed in and it is great for families. We are travelling with our 18 and 16 year old kids and the room had a queen and 3 singles. Plenty of room for our bags and had a private bathroom. The staff we extremely helpful, great breakfast and it felt very safe.

Er is gratis WiFi. - location is great/ Lastarria, close to old part of town, walking distance to cute little restaurants. Mercado centrale, Santa Lucia Hill, etc. - great breakfast/ poached eggs were my favorite - food in the restaurant was awesome/ ceviche is fantastic and must try, - pamper yourself with pisco sour in a hotel bar on a terrace with a great view of Santiago and San Cristobal (funicular) - very helpful, nice and kind staff - they gave us great advice about everything whatever question we had!
