Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Tifakara Boutique Hotel is located just outside Arenal Volcano National Park in Fortuna where you can enjoy stunning volcanic views. Superb breakfast, additions to ”main course” a lot add ons with fruit, croisants, cookies, juice etc. Nice rooms very close to the djungle, and both birds and frogs to be seen in their natural habitat. Free nightwalk and spotting frogs, toads and if you are lucky also snake. Everbody is superfriendly and helpful. Pool area nice with hot tubs as well.

This is an amazing place! The chalet is beautiful, clean and spacious. We had a fabilous view of the Arenal vulcano from our window and terrace. Chalets are surrounded by a beautiful garden where different wild and farm animals roam around. There was also a sloth living on a tree there. The little farm they have is extremely well maintained and you can try milking the cow and collecting eggs every morning. Animals seem very well cared for. The hot springs are gorgeous, the place makes you feel like you are in paradise. We highly recommend this place!

Lost Iguana Resort and Spa offers an outdoor pool, a gym and lush gardens with a maze. Each room has views of the Arenal Volcano, located just a 25-minute drive away. We liked the location of the hotel. It is in the middle of the forest but still close to the main road and attractions. The pool bar was our favorite.

Located 14 km from Arenal Volcano National Park, Lomas del Volcan offers lush gardens, an outdoor pool and a hot tub. Each air-conditioned cabin has free Wi-Fi and flat-screen cable TV. When we arrived I saw one of the most breath taking views ever. The volcano is so close and makes a crazy impression. I could just stare at it. I wish we could stay longer. Such a peaceful and calm environment, breath taking view on the volcano, well maintained gardens, fantastic pool. So much wildlife- we could hear hundreds of birds all the time. I recommend visiting nearby restaurants as there are so many just a few minutes away. The only thing I didn’t like was a dinner at the hotel restaurant- it was expensive and really not too tasty. Very „Americanized” menu. I would rather have something local and simple. Breakfasts were wonderful though.

Free WiFi access is available. 野鳥がみられる広い自然公園が敷地内にあって朝６時から入れます。お目当てのマイコドリは残念ながら見られませんでした。プールのある中庭があったりでコスタリカ旅行の最後にまったりするのにいいんじゃないかと思います。空港までわりと近いのでUberを使えば安くいけます。

Located just outside Arenal Volcano National Park, this eco-friendly hotel offers an outdoor pool, a spa and a grill restaurant, surrounded by tropical gardens. We had a beautiful balcony facing directly towards the Volcano, which we could appreciate also while laying in bed. The room was spacious and the beds themselves probably the best ones we had in our whole trip along Costa Rica. In the morning you could spot so many different kinds of birds directly from the balcony, that would visit the flowers of the hotel garden; which really makes you feel immerse in Nature. The breakfast was spectacular with so many local dishes and fruits; and the food at the restaurant was always delicious. The pool is super nice, due to the weather we limited ourselves to the hot tubs which were amazing after a long hiking day. We were surprised to see the hotel has its own veggie garden, and almost a third of the property kept as a reserved area, with a really nice path for a morning walk. We would definitely come back
