Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Tifakara Boutique Hotel is located just outside Arenal Volcano National Park in Fortuna where you can enjoy stunning volcanic views. Beautiful hotel with very good restaurant and great breakfast. The personell is very accommodating and helpful. Volcan areal is very close and you can also visit the hot springs close by. The hotel offers a free frog tour in the dark, which was a great experience. It takes place on the hotel grounds and there are many frogs to be found. Normals and venomous ones, the guide was knowlegeable and told a lot about the animals and the plants, I really recommend to stay here to visit the La Fortuna area.

The whole atmosphere was so beautiful and peaceful. The staff were friendly and kind. Loved the animals, especially the cute piggy, walking around. The hot spring area is superb - after long hike in the rain forests, we relaxed in the hot spring. The bar in the area served variety of drinks and dishes - all tasty.

There is so much to do in this region—from waterfall hikes to hot springs and wildlife watching. It's the perfect place to connect with nature and unwind in luxury. Honestly, this stay reminded me of the tranquility and beauty I’ve experienced in Andaz Bali and Thailand.

Great place to stay after a long journey, travelling from the UK. We arrived very late but were warmly welcomed. In the morning we had a lovely breakfast in the beautiful garden. Thoroughly recommend, especially if you're looking for peace and quiet not too far from the airport. Extra bonus: our car hire company (Wild Rider) delivered to Pura Vida, making for a very easy departure.

We liked the location of the hotel. It is in the middle of the forest but still close to the main road and attractions. The pool bar was our favorite.
