Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Tifakara Boutique Hotel is located just outside Arenal Volcano National Park in Fortuna where you can enjoy stunning volcanic views. The hotel is like an oasis for the wildlife, we had a night forest walk on the first night where we saw all the mammals of Costa Rica live, breakfast is nice and classy a la carte - fruit and eggs (seeme there is no "all you can eat" buffet breakfast that popular in Costa Rica). We had a room in main building orverlooking the pool, bubble bathes and volcano. The hotel garden is really nice, botanical garden where you can meet frogs, snakes, birds Hotel staff is espacially nice and helping, making really good vibe for the hotel

Lost Iguana Resort and Spa offers an outdoor pool, a gym and lush gardens with a maze. Each room has views of the Arenal Volcano, located just a 25-minute drive away. We liked the location of the hotel. It is in the middle of the forest but still close to the main road and attractions. The pool bar was our favorite.

Located 14 km from Arenal Volcano National Park, Lomas del Volcan offers lush gardens, an outdoor pool and a hot tub. Each air-conditioned cabin has free Wi-Fi and flat-screen cable TV. Amazing garden - very well maintained and very beautiful! A lot of different birds and other wildlife. There's also a wild trek which begins from the hotel - it's a short one and gives you a great idea what a walk in a jungle looks like. On top of that the staff was amazing - due to bad weather I had to change the plans we had at the last minute and the staff helped us a lot - Thank you, you are awesome and you made our trip to Costa Rica wonderful!

Hotel Rancho Cerro Azul is located in La Fortuna, Alajuela and offers free WiFi access and stunning views of the surrounding gardens, mountain side and the Arenal Volcano. The staff were so sweet & helpful. I asked via e-mail to book some tours, so they would be ready for us from day 1. We got excellent recommendations & the tours were also 1st class. The breakfast was nice & the rooms are all facing the green jungle with a nearby path directly to the little river.
