One of the most wonderful trips ever!! Ximena made me feel like family!! She is an absolute gem and always made me laugh! When I had to leave, I actually cried the night before and also in the morning when I was leaving and hugging goodbye because I was going to miss everything - from Ximena greeting me with her delicious plates of fresh fruit each morning, sweet Ruby and Bella (dogs) keeping me company each evening out on the terrace, Botas the cat coming around to say hello, the rooster outside in the yard behind our rooms serving as my early-morning alarm clock a few times (that was actually funny!), and my favorite of all - the sweet little bird in the tree each morning singing, “Beeeeeeeeep!” ☺️ The property sits on a hill and the rooms (there are four) are built up in a treetop-style loft. There is a spacious outdoor community-style kitchen where you can cook your own meals if you’re on a budget or don’t feel like going out to eat every night. There is a supermarket and pharmacy right next door. There is a large terrace outside of the rooms with tables where you can sit, relax, enjoy breakfast, or read a book to unwind after a day at the beach. The rooms are spacious with a minibar and a wooden armoire to place your belongings. Beach towels are graciously provided. I absolutely loved this place! I did NOT want to leave - ever. Also, it’s a ten minute walk to Brasilito beach and a twenty minute walk to Playa Conchal, one of the most beautiful beaches you will ever visit. Situated just 500 meters from the beach and less than 100 meters from the town center, the Modern, Contemporary & Sophisticated Tamarindo Bay Boutique Hotel, Apartments & Suites Studios & Suites is an... Het hotel heeft een geweldige ligging qua locatie, je loopt zo het centrum in maar je bent ook net ver genoeg om de rust op te zoeken. Mooie zwembaden, hele fijne kamer, en goede faciliteiten. De host was super aardig en gaf fijne tips, we hebben heerlijk een weekje ontspannen na onze rondreis door Costa Rica.

Dit hotel aan het strand heeft een buitenzwembad en biedt spafaciliteiten en massages. Er zijn ook vergaderzalen, tuinen en winkels op het terrein. The garden is absolutely delightful, it has the most exotic fruit trees, it's paradise! There are even cats, lots of them, beautiful and friendly, I would have stayed there for a month! :) It's the most peaceful place. And the rooms are, of course, very nice, very spatious, actually the size of an appartment, the bathroom as well. The staff is also great, they were very, very patient with us, even though we were a bit dizzy from the jet lag, had been switching accomodations every day for a few days, forgot stuff in our room at check-out, annoyed them with food that we needed refrigerated and so on. We couldn't even stand ourselves anymore :) Anyway - if we ever come back to that area, we'll be staying there, for sure.

Hotel Arco Iris beschikt over een buitenzwembad, weelderige tropische tuinen en charmante accommodatie met airconditioning, op slechts 500 meter van het strand van Tamarindo. The hotel was not too far from the beach and the surrounding was really lovely. I really liked the help I received from the staff for my transportation from San José to the hotel, I recommand!

Hotel Esperanza is gelegen in Carrillo, op 6 minuten lopen van Playa Carrillo, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. Netjes en schoon, alles wordt met aandacht gedaan. Heerlijk ontbijt. Super vriendelijke eigenaren en personeel, niets is te veel gevraagd. Op loopafstand van een prachtig strand en goede restaurants.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is up on a hill 5 min drive from the main shopping area of Tamarindo. The pool area and view of the ocean is amazing. The room was nice, clean, comfortable and had a balcony with an incredible view of the pool and ocean. Breakfast was good. The best part was the bonus of the Langosta Beach Club included in the stay. We loved the pool, beachfront lounge chairs, shade and facilities here and enjoyed the food and happy hour cocktail’s. The shuttle provided by the Wyndham hotel made it easy to go from the hotel to town and beach club and back. We walked a few times for exercise and felt safe the whole time.

The beachfront Hotel el Velero boasts an outdoor pool and a private beach where you can choose to swim, lounge or relax. Heerlijke bedden, mooie locatie, lekker eten!

Het Green Sanctuary Hotel is gelegen in Nosara en biedt een buitenzwembad en een spa- en wellnesscentrum. WiFi en privéparkeergelegenheid zijn hier gratis. The staff was great. Is a small hotel full of plants everywhere. Very clean and well maintained room. Breakfast was very good as well.
