Offering an outdoor swimming pool and an extensive garden, Hotel Banana Azul is located in Playa Negra beach and 2.5 km from Puerto Viejo town centre. Free WiFi access is available in all areas. I liked everything. The pool, the bedroom, the kitchen, the food. The staff was awesome.

This place met and exceeded our expectations. The owners (Joel & Karilily) are super down to earth and passionate about their little piece of paradise. The host (Kat) and chef (Sebastian) were absolutely a pleasure to spend time with at breakfast and in the evenings for happy hour. Made from scratch breakfast every morning was delicious and a great way to start your day. The grounds are beautiful and we saw a momma sloth and her baby as well as a larger baby sloth that lived on the premises. I could not possibly say enough good things about this place. Love, Love Love!
