Physis Caribbean Bed & Breakfast ligt in mooie tropische tuinen en biedt lichte accommodatie. A wonderful small family-owned bed and breakfast in a calm location rather close to the beach and away from the most touristic area of Cocles. The owner was very friendly and helpful and recommended us several activities and restaurants. One can see that it's important to them that the guests enjoy their stay. Nextdoor to a lovely bar/restaurant Casa Rio. We even encountered a sloth on the street! All in all a very lovely and serene stay at Physis B&B with a delicious breakfast and great service beyond expectation!

Hotel Banana Azul heeft een grote tuin met een buitenzwembad en ligt aan het strand Playa Negra, op 2,5 km van het centrum van Puerto Viejo. Er is gratis WiFi in alle ruimtes. I liked everything. The pool, the bedroom, the kitchen, the food. The staff was awesome.

Situated 150 metres from Playa Cocles Beach, Caribe Town Bungalows offers tropical gardens and a pool with a swim-up bar. Puerto Viejo town is just 3 km away. Een van de meeste mooie en meest gastvrije plekken waar wij ooit zijn geweest. Werkelijk alles was perfect! Van het ontbijt dat elke dag gevarieerd en zelf gemaakt door de eigenaren werdt geserveerd, tot het kleinschalige en de toch privé voelende bungalow. Het complex heeft er op dit moment 5 die toch prive aanvoelen. Bedden lagen goed en het huisje was meer dan schoon! Maar het beste was de gastvrij heid van Karilily, Joel en de Caribe Town Family. Het unieke wat wij te vieren hadden maakte zijn zelfs net nog iets specialer! Als we de tijd en het geld hadden kwamen wij zeker snel terug voor een langere tijd. Als je dit wil boeken zou ik je aanraden dit via hun eigen website te boeken. Zo sponsor je hun lokaal zonder kosten af te dragen aan booking.

Lizard King Hotel & Suites ligt op slechts 50 m van het Salsa Brava-strand en beschikt over een buitenzwembad dat wordt omgeven door tropische planten. The room was exactly as in the picture, comfy beds and A/C worked perfect. It is located next to many cafes, restaurants and the beach is accross the street. The pool was clean and staff super friendly. They also have a parking in the back which was great.
