The hotel is family owned and family run. The staff are fantastic. Jose, the primary manager was extraordinary. I confronted him series of issues and he solved them all. Convento de San Benito is a restored convent, set in the pretty Galician fishing port of A Guarda. The spacious rooms all have a french balcony, a minibar and a safe. Great location. Also we loved both interior and exterior (it was a convent, now adapted as a hotel, so tastfully). And above all, extremely friendly and helpful staff!

This charming and rustic-style hotel is located in the historical center of Ribadeo, only 100 metres from the seafront promenade and the marina. The location is perfect, the owner is super kind and helpful, my room was huge and super comfortable.
