Housed in a converted prison from 1837, this atmospheric hotel is found on Katajanokka Island in central Helsinki. Uspenski Cathedral is a 10-minute walk away, while Helsinki Cathedral is found within 15 minutes' walk. This is a great hotel for its money. I would like to point out that dinner and breakfast is included in the room rate - it is a great idea, nowhere. No need to go out in the evening, nice dinner and more then enough. Rooms at Hotel Fabian feature stylish, modern design and décor. Some have a kitchenette with a refrigerator, tea/coffee maker and microwave. Great location, easy access to the whole city. Very friendly & helpful staff. Rooms were very clean & comfortable. Good TV's too, which allowed me to cast from my own devices.

Our room was cosy; it was the first time when I felt at home in a hotel. I tried SPA treatments, and they were on a good level, too. The staff was polite, friendly, and helpful. We came right after Christmas, and the hotel was beautifully decorated. So many things have been included, which is what to be expected from a 5-star hotel: shower cap, soft bath robes and slippers, bath salts, nice capsule coffee machine (we didn't use though). The breakfast was very nice with good selection and food quality. I particularly liked old-styled porridge with dry fruits (I didn't try such before, but I'm pretty sure it's how it tasted when the hotel was founded 137 years ago) and that tasty cappuccino was included into the price.

Sörnäisten Metro Station is just a 3-minute walk away. Honestly it was excellent, perfect location, friendly staff, clean, well organized, room comfortable for sleeping. I enjoyed my stay. This stylish design hotel, opened in August 2012, is 1.5 km from Helsinki Central Station and just 50 metres from Hakaniemi Metro Station. It offers free Wi-Fi, a lobby bar and 3 cooperating restaurants, serving fine and casual dining. The hotel is within walking distance of the city center. It’s clean, the staff was always helpful and friendly. It offers good value for the price.

Scandinavian décor, a work desk and private bathroom with shower are standard at Hotel Korpilampi. Some rooms feature wooden floors. The staff were so pleasant and helpful. It was a slow time so able to chat. The location of the hotel is convenient to the airport as well as nuuksio national park. The area of the hotel, and views are beautiful. The hotel is exceptional in the amount of amenities available-sauna, pool, gym, dining room for breakfast and dinner. The dinner was very impressive and had wonderful vegan options. I felt compelled to personally compliment the chef.
