Overlooking Loch Feochan with panoramic views of rugged mountains and tranquil islands, Knipoch House Hotel is just a short drive from Oban, the seafood capital of Scotland and a gateway to the Isles.... Lovely 4 star hotel with sea views just 15 minutes from Oban. Very friendly local staff who gave lots of advice about the local area and wildlife. The rooms are quite large and comfortable with Scottish interiors and renovations finished in 2024. There are 2 lounge areas with a wood fire for use also in the day time. Breakfast was served at the table on the breakfast room (extra cost). The restaurant food was very high quality and good value with the same menu for lunch or dinner. Well located for walks and visits with the possibility of seeing wildlife although you would be best with a car. Highly recommended I would love to go back in any season !

Situated in Luss in the Argyll & Bute Region, 38 km from Glasgow, Culag Lochside Self Catering features views of the mountains. Free private parking is available on site. Patrick, the owner, went beyond being hospitable. Attention to detail was excellent and couldn't have been more helpful. The grounds are on loch lomond periphery with outstanding views of the loch. There is a walkway the whole way to the beautiful village of Luss and the hotel The Lodge on The Lough. We couldn't recommend it highly enough. Thank you Patrick.

MacKays is a high-quality, 4-star guest house, which is exclusively for adults. The award-winning property stands out on Oban's beautiful seafront, with uninterrupted views of the busy harbour. The best experience ever! a large, bright spotless room with a high ceiling and an incredibly beautiful view! Great location.Extra treats and breakfast items, especially welcoming sherry (!) were very much appreciated.

With a 4-star rating from Visit Scotland, the pretty Struan House B&B is found on Tarbert’s peaceful harbour-side. Breakfast was amazing . Everything was prepared to perfection . Mark was very friendly and we enjoyed our morning chats with him .
