Situated on the picturesque Isle of Raasay, a 5-minute walk from the ferry terminal, Raasay House Hotel is nestled in a Georgian mansion with beautifully landscaped lawns. The hotel is fantastic, in a very nice place just in front of the sea. It's a traditional place, but very tasty and comfortable. Great breakfast, nice room, and nice views.

Cuillin Hills Hotel ligt op een eigen terrein van 6 hectare en biedt spectaculair uitzicht over de baai van Portree tot aan de bergketen van Cuillin. The hotel was truly wonderful — the room view was absolutely breathtaking, exactly like the photos but even better, as if from a fairytale. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was incredibly delicious with a stunning restaurant view. Everything was perfect.

On the Isle of Skye, Flodigarry Hotel and Flodigarry Restaurant offers accommodation in a country house sitting on a hill and offering sea views towards the Torridons and Scottish mainland. Alles in dit hotel is top! De kamer, de service, de ligging… Wij zijn wakker geworden met een prachtige zonsopgang die we konden bewonderen vanuit ons bed. En het eten is werkelijk fantastisch. Je voelt dat de kok (en zijn team) niet alleen achter de potten staat, maar er ook zijn/haar ziel in steekt. De commentaren zeggen soms dat de porties klein zijn. Als je gewend bent om dagelijks burgers of “meat and taters” te eten, dan geloof ik dat. Maar als je houdt van verfijnde keuken, dan is dit een Michelin ster waardig! De haggis bij het ontbijt was de beste die we al gehad hebben. Het personeel is ook bijzonder hulpvaardig. Niets is hen te veel. Het hotel wordt binnenkort gerenoveerd, maar wij komen terug want dit is het beste hotel op Skye!! Wat een bijzondere ervaring!

Dit hotel ligt in een schilderachtige baai in het zuiden van Skye en biedt een prachtig uitzicht over de Sound of Sleat en de heuvels van Knoydart in de verte. The location is beautiful and quiet, right at the sea and set in nature. From here, you can explore the Isle of Skye. The cottages are very cute. We had a large and comfortable room. The people are very friendly and we loved the breakfast. The common rooms had a lovely admosphere. It felt very local, authentic, and rustic. There is a cosy bar where you can warm yourself at the fireplace and have some (very nice) food. We were very sad to leave this place!

Coolin View Guest House ligt in het centrum van Portree en biedt een spectaculair uitzicht over de haven van Portree. Er is gratis parkeergelegenheid en gratis WiFi. Top hotel voor een nacht. Mooi schoon en heerlijk comfortabel bed. Prachtige locatie met uitzicht op het meer. Er was verder geen personeel aanwezig, maar het werkte prima.
