Comfortable rooms with lovely linens. The gardens are a wonderful place to sit and relax. The food was superb, braised beef wrapped in prosciutto (it works) for one of us, duck done two ways for another, excellent sides, good wine choices available. One cannot ask for more.

Dating back to the 12th century, this Grade II listed bed and breakfast is less than 100 metres from Lincoln Cathedral. Original stone fireplaces and wooden beams feature throughout Cathedral View. The location was great very close to the cathedral, castle, quaint shops, pubs and restaurants. Paul was kind enough to pick us up at the station and give a short intro. to the area. Then ordered us a taxi for the return trip. Taxi was about $8.

Everything was great. Happily accommodated my touring bicycle. Very nice room—super clean and quiet and comfortable. Excellent light blocking (a rarity) shades/curtains. Very good breakfast. In Lincoln's Cathedral Quarter, the hotel is 500 metres from the Medieval Bishop’s Palace. we stayed in a twin room num 4. it was delightful. the beds were comfy… the pillows fluffy. a lovely bathroom with a good shower. We had an evening meal and the food was delicious. Real Ale for ones who like that and decent wine. the breakfast was yummy too. I can’t fault the staff… friendly..smiley and very helpful. They took our cases upstairs for us and brought them down again when we left. The location is perfect too, near the cathedral and the castle, with a 15 minute downhill walk into town with lots of quaint shops to browse on the way.

I really enjoyed the luxury of the Victorian bath and the thoughtful inclusion of Prosecco, enhancing the overall indulgence of my stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, providing a restful night’s sleep. The well-maintained exterior and clean, inviting common areas, along with remarkably kind restaurant staff who catered attentively to our needs, contributed to a delightful experience. Note: All photos were taken at the end of our stay. Upon check-in, all rooms were impeccable.
