The hotel is at the edge of Balloch and the place is easily reachable on foot. There are walking/hiking routes within walking distance from the hotel. Plenty of parking spots, and a nice pub/restaurant attached. We had daily breakfast and dinner there and the meals were excellent, plenty of choice too! The people living in the area are also visiting, it's a very welcoming place. The meals are reasonably priced, and easily customizable. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, good bed, quiet surroundings. The bathroom was nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and would offer information about the area when asked; they would be very approachable and show genuine interest in the guests' comfort and how they spent their day.

La Tullie Inn, situada junto a la estación de tren de Balloch, ofrece alojamientos cómodos a 1,6 km del centro de Alexandria. The attention was nice. The rooms were cozy and nice, with a beautiful countryside touch, a little like part of an Agatha Christie’s novel. Breakfast was excellent (included in our booking)

Located on the shores of Loch Lomond within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, Cameron House is a 20-minute drive from Glasgow Airport. All of the staff we met were amazingly helpful and friendly to chat with. The hotel is beautifully located with great views across Loch Lomond and nice walks around the property. The restaurant and bar were very nice - excellent food and service. Very good gym.
