A unique accommodation on a canal boat moored at a quay very near the city center. Quite fun! Spotlessly clean and run by a charming host. If you are looking for the Ritz Carlton, go elsewhere. But if you are in the mood for something different in a great location with all needs met, give this houseboat a try! There’s an easy to understand guide to the facilities on the boat. Included parking is right at the boat and directions to access are complete and simple. Nearby pubs and cafes. If you go, and you see owner Mark around the boats in the morning, talk to him! He is friendly with loads of stories and information and can tell you all about the boats. Our first visit to Sheffield, an interesting city with lots of history and many restaurants, pubs and historical sights. We hope to be back!

A 5-minute walk from Sheffield's rail and bus stations, this Leonardo Hotel Sheffield is close to the trendy Devonshire quarter and the cathedral. This was our second stay in the hotel. Even better as the room was more spacious than the first time. Still excellent bed and shower. Tea/coffee making facilities with good variety of teas. Iron and ironing board in the room also. Everything absolutely spotless. Very quiet. Interesting varied menu in the restaurant or for room service. Convenient parking under the hotel (free for us, holders of a disabled driver parking disk). Also noticed that the hotel is very convenient to the railway station if needed. Staff always efficient and friendly. Particularly pleased that when we rang a week later to query about a forgotten item in the room it was immediately identified in the lost and found register and was ready to be picked up conveniently

Nestled on the picturesque Victoria Quays waterfront, the newly refurbished Sandman Signature Sheffield Quays Hotel blends contemporary design with historic charm for an unforgettable stay. Perfect. We stay in lots of hôtels in our travels and this one has to bé our number 1. Beds and pillows so comfortable we didn't want to get up! Bathroom superb. Hot and cold taps/water didn't need a science dégrée to figure out and thé breakfast was fabulous and copious. Superb rooms. Great gym and pool and awesome open spaces. Thank you!

Ticked all the boxes for me, nice clean room with a large comfy bed. Great shower! Friendly helpful staff. Good breakfast. All that at a really good price

The Leopold is a 4-star unique hotel amid the shops, restaurants and bars of Sheffield city centre. Built in 1800, it has stylish, air-conditioned rooms and a lounge bar serving light meals. Location is top class, right beside the Crucible and 2 minutes from the city centre. Breakfast was good, buffet style. Rooms very comfortable.
