The Olde Bell, BW Signature Collection is a modernised 3-star coaching inn providing Ilse Crawford designed restful rooms with a rustic elegance. Een heerlijk ontvangst na een lange dag rijden. We werden meteen hartelijk begroet door de gastheer die ons meteen een kamer upgrade voorstelde. Tijdens het diner werden we geholpen door Terry, subtiele Engelse humor, heerlijk. De volgende ochtend hebben we door tuinman Kevin een kleine tour door de tuinen en bibliotheek mogen maken welke voorzien werd van mooie verhalen uit de geschiedenis van deze Inn.

The Pennyfarthing is an independent hotel in the centre of Berkhamsted, just 6 minutes’ walk from Berkhamsted Railway Station. De locatie is heel goed voor een bezoek aan Londen, de prijs is redelijk en het personeel superaardig.
