The location was absolutely perfect, providing stunning views that made the stay even more special. Anna at the reception was exceptionally kind and professional, ensuring that all our needs were met with a smile. The services provided were top-notch, and the food was simply amazing, offering a delightful culinary experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an outstanding stay!

Located 900 metres from the centre of Lovran and just 20 metres from the nearest beach, Hotel Villa Astra is set in a quiet area, next to the 15-km long seaside promenade and consists of a main building and an annex. Buffet breakfast is available on site, as well as a Wellness Area. Free parking and free Wi-Fi are offered. A magnificent villa from the AUS-HUN monarchy overlooking a picturesque bay — you can literally jump into the crystal-clear, rocky sea right from the garden. The villa’s garden is beautiful, and the freshwater pool is heated. Breakfast exceeded all expectations. The bed in the room was extremely comfortable. A truly relaxing atmosphere. You can walk to the center of the charming little town in about 15 minutes along a picturesque seaside promenade. When we arrived around 9:30 PM, the owner welcomed us with a glass of local pálinka on the terrace and sat down to chat with us about the villa and the surrounding area.

Built in 1909 by a Viennese entrepreneur Anton Urm, this hotel has hosted numerous aristocratic guests, including the Austrian-Hungarian emperor Franz Joseph. It was rebuilt almost 80 years later, with attention to its original design and preserving a romantic atmosphere. Breakfast was diverse and really nice 👍🙂

Modern-style bathrooms include a hairdryer and free toiletries. Glamorous hotel 50 meters away from the statue of Girl with a seagull. Staff was amazing, polite, but not pushy at any moment. Room modern and clean, view to die for.
