Het Hotel Villa Astra ligt op 900 meter van het centrum van Lovran en op slechts 20 meter van het dichtstbijzijnde strand. Dit rustige hotel is gevestigd aan een 15 km lange boulevard langs de zee. You arrive in paradise: gorgeous Mediterranean villa surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers! The owner and staff are very welcoming. We spent time on the terrace where we also had a wonderful breakfast the next day. Our room was very spacious and clean with balcony overlooking the property and a window with a sea view. From the terrace you walk out on the private beach and can stroll for 10 min into the town center along the water. Everything about Villa Astra is perfect! We are very impressed! Would love to come back!

Een fantastisch uitzicht over de zee en de bergen, geweldig eten (kwaliteit voor een zéér goede prijs) en ongelimiteerde vriendelijk- en behulpzaamheid van het personeel. Een absoluut totaalpakket!

Dit 5-sterrenhotel is in 2020 volledig gerenoveerd en gevestigd in een Oostenrijks-Hongaarse villa uit 1886. Het ligt te midden van het goed verzorgde St. Jacob-park in het centrum van Opatija. Everything was just wow! First of all, I really liked that the hotel is small and cozy. The staff is super attentive and just pleasant people you want to talk to. Breakfasts… that’s a whole other story — fantasy on the edge of a culinary fairy tale. Very tasty! 😋 The beach is literally two steps away. Although the hotel doesn’t have its own private beach, you can either lay out your stuff for free or rent sunbeds - 25 euros for two with an umbrella. And they’re so comfy that I seriously thought about buying one for home 😂 The bed is truly royal - both in length and height! I slept like a lion on a throne 😄 There’s also a nice park nearby - perfect for evening walks. I sat on a bench in the shade, opened a book, fresh air around, birds singing… Romantic! Just don’t forget mosquito spray to enjoy it fully. Definitely recommend! 🌟

Room was large & loved the towel warmer in the bathroom. Large selections for breakfast. Our room balcony was a lovely relaxing spot to enjoy the view.
