The restaurant/bar was amazing (both food & beverages) and the staff were BEYOND astonishing! No hyperbole, staying at the Martello was the best lodging experience we've ever had, whether in the States or abroad.

This 400-year old hotel is nestled in the beautiful Vale of Avoca, overlooking Woodenbridge Golf Club. Its modern rooms have free Wi-Fi, while its AA Rosette restaurant serves full Irish breakfasts. Beautiful setting with lush surroundings. We were able to entertain some visiting family members in a quiet secluded lounge area, with staff ever attentive. Room and facilities were excellent. Lovely breakfast.
