Perched 4000 feet above sea level on a peaceful hillside is Taj Madikeri Resort & Spa Coorg. The location is exceptional. I visited Taj Madikeri during rain season and I found this experience unique and amazing. Food was delicious with local varieties. I tried extra programmes like hiking, forest walk and local guides were great and knowledgeable. I learnt a lot and enjoyed.

The staff at the restaurant and the front desk were outstanding. Huge shout out to Vinutha and Soundarya at the Front Desk handling guest relations. Even the spa was great and Sushma did a wonderful job and all the therapists were wonderful too.

We had an amazing stay. The staff is exceptional and especially Rahul, Nehya, Sandhya, Vikram, and Satya fulfilled us every wish. We felt so welcome due to the hospitality lived in the hotel.

THE ROOM WAS GREAT, CLEAN, AND SERVICES WERE GOOD. WE HAD A GREAT STAY. WE DIDN'T HAVE BREAKFAST FROM THERE. BUT HAD LUNCH AT THE RESTAURANT ON THE SAME PREMISES " CHEFF PILAIS" FANTASTIC FOOD. WILL SURELY USE THIS PROPERTY IN THE FUTURE AS IT IS CENTRALLY LOCATED AND VERY ACCESSIBLE.

My wife and I stayed at the Mercure for a short 4-day trip to visit family. We got an apartment that also came with breakfast. The hotel is nestled in Koramangala amongst residential houses but tucked away from the main road so it provides privacy. The first thing that strikes you when you check in is the warmth and hospitality of the staff. They are very courteous, respectful, and always there to help you with your needs in a proactive manner. The room was very comfortable and clean. It comes with a living room and balcony, a kitchenette, and a separate bedroom. It is spacious and very well equipped with necessary amenities. The room is stocked with clean water in sealed bottles which is topped up everyday. Breakfast comprises a spread of local and international dishes. The local fare is something I would strongly recommend as the variety is nothing short of amazing, and very tasty. The staff at the Verandah (cafe where breakfast is served) are eager to serve and they will also recommend dishes that may not be on the buffet menu but can be ordered for the chef to dish out. The hotel also has a spa that has a range of services ranging from Swedish massage to the traditional Indian massages. Again something I would strongly recommend.
