Built in 1920, this architectural marvel, Ratan Vilas, Jodhpur offers an outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant that serves Indian and continental specialities. This mansion like hotel is absolutely what we dreamed of before visiting India. It has a rich pink color, and our room was spacious and comfortable. The pool has a good size, and the restaurant serves good Indian food. But most of all, we enjoyed great hospitality and felt most welcome throughout our whole stay. Balvir and his team are true experts in making your stay the best it can be. Thank you very much and hope to see you again!

Built over 175 years ago within the city of Jaipur as the royal family manor, Samode Haveli reflects the style and elegance of the royals. A special feature of the Haveli is the elephant ramp. The most amazing hotel I’ve ever stayed at. We loved everything about it, from the decor to the service, to the poolside. We had every evening meal in the restaurant which was always delicious, and the breakfast was wonderful too. We loved our evening drinks on the roof terrace to wind down before dinner. We never wanted to leave the hotel to go exploring!

The location was in the old city. Roof terrace has a magnificent view. My room was cleaned daily and was spotless. The manager drove me to the train station with a staff member who made sure I was in the correct seat and stowed my luggage. More than I could have asked. Thank you

The staff are so friendly and helpful. The morning tour was also a gem. We spent some time at the rooftop and enjoyed the lake view and peaceful atmosphere, and that was amazing. Located in a deep street but very convenient to get to the tourist spots by walk. It'll be my top choice if I come back to Udaipur. And it might happen because it's my favorite city on my trip.

Beautiful haveli, well restored and well maintained. The staff were nice and helpful — they picked us up at the taxi drop-off point and arranged a tuk-tuk for our check-out day at a reasonable price. The room was beautiful and clean. The location is convenient, right in the heart of the city, with a rooftop offering a nice view, even though it’s not on the lakeside. The Indian food was good as well.
