Propere en zeer ruime kamer met bad en douche, warm onthaal, vriendelijke staff, gevarieerd buffet. Rooftop zwembad met beperkt aantal ligstoelen. Waren hier 10 jaar geleden ook al. Een aanrader.

Ganpati Guest House biedt een handige 24-uursreceptie en ligt op slechts 10 meter van het heilige Ganga Ghat. Het treinstation Varanasi Junction bevindt zich 3,5 km verderop. Heel vriendelijke en bijzondere ontvangst. We werden met 2 dragers opgehaald bij de plek tot waar de taxi mocht komen. Vlak bij de Ganges gelegen, met een dakterras dat uitkijkt over de rivier. En waar je ook heerlijk kunt eten. De gids voor een oriënterende wandeling door de stad is een aanrader

Shree Ganesha Palace is gevestigd in een 80 jaar oud monumentaal pand in Varanasi. In het hele hotel is gratis WiFi beschikbaar. The hotel staff were very accommodating. They provided us with a room as early as 9:00 AM as we arrived quite early. The room was an economical one, but was good for a 1 night stay with all amenities like a dryer, geyser, mini-fridge, AC, table, TV, etc. The hotel also has a restaurant but we didn't order anything from there.

Staff are well-behaved, from the security guard, house keeping are well-mannered. Food Quality and Quantity are excellent, but yes, rates are a little expensive. Breakfast didn't have many options and was very minimal, and standard 3 to 4 items. Has an excellent Resto-Bar with a decent crowd and Music.
