You can get to the beach easily and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. AC was great and the bed comfortable. Nice and quiet and my only complain is that we should have booked a longer stay! 😄

Pellicano B&B and host Lorenzo was one of the best experiences with booking. Room was spacious and had it all from different bath accessories to even slippers. Super clean, there was tea available at any time. Also host explained how to get around, I could leave my bag after check out. Highly recommend and would come back again!!!

Appreciated the possibility to buy some locally produced products - olive oil and delicious lemon marmalade- on the spot. An absolutely highlight of our trip around Italy.

Goede bedden. Aardige eigenaar, die allerlei tips voor je heeft bij locale bureaus om excursies te maken. Hadden wij vooraf al gedaan, wisten dit niet. Erg relaxt!

Het 4-sterrenhotel Piccolo Grand ligt in Pizzo Calabro, op slechts 200 m van het strand. Het biedt elegante kamers met gratis WiFi en een balkon met uitzicht op de stad of de zee. This was, by far, the best kept boutique hotel we have been to. Spotless inside and out. The sraff are extremely kind and accomodating. We intend to make return trips here. Though Pizzo is a smaller town compared to its neighbour Tropea and others, its charm far exceeds its size. The restaurants in the piazza are like cousins that live on the same street, calling at eachother across the square and sending patrons from one spot to the next showing such a heartwarming sense of community. Yes, the tartuffi are outstanding, from artisnal gelato to the fresh nuts and coatings they use. The location is quite central to other popular tourist destinations requiring short drives or train rides to those spots without the hefty price tags or overcrowded piazzas. Overall the wirst part of the trip was having to leave. It began to feel like home very fast thanks to the staff at the hotel and in the piazza. Highly recomended.
