Relais Casali della Cisterna is set in two 19th-century building surrounded by a private park overlooking Lake Maggiore. The couple that runs the relais were wonderful. They were friendly and spoke several languages. They provided great recommendations, wonderful simple food, and a warm welcome. They remained friendly and efficient even when things got busy. They are a classy pair. The accommodations were fabulous and the grounds quite lovely with a wonderful view of the lake. The surroundings were very quiet. They even had EV charging!

Hotel Arancioamaro is set in Cannero Riviera, one of Lake Maggiore's most beautiful towns. It offers a restaurant, bar and terrace, plus rooms with free Wi-Fi. You couldn't ask for a better location or a better view of the lake! We were warmly welcomed and when we saw our room, we were amazed at the breath-taking view of Lago Maggiore. Almost every evening of our stay, we enjoyed the views and a glass of wine on our private balcony. We had a few meals at the restaurant as well. Our food was perfectly prepared and excellent, as was the wait staff. In fact, the entire staff–in both the restaurant and hotel– was accommodating, friendly, and courteous. This was the perfect end of our trip!

The pictures do not do it justice. This is an absolutely lovely hotel with easy walking distance to downtown price well. The owner operator is very kind and friendly. The breakfast was very good proper cappuccino and espresso parking available.

Set right on the lakeside, Hotel Bel Sit offers a private beach and a breakfast room with terrace, with panoramic views across Lake Maggiore and a small pool. Milan Malpensa Airport is 21 km away. Beautifully appointed hotel, right on the lake. Very nice and attentive Staff. Our lake view room had lovely balcony. Property is very quiet and relaxed in many ways 😎

Set on the shores of Lake Maggiore, Villa e Palazzo Aminta offers a luxurious wellness centre, a private garden on the lake, and an outdoor swimming pool overlooking the Borromean Islands. We had a beautiful room at the Palazzo overlooking Lake Maggiore. The design of the whole hotel was fabulous and everything we ate - breakfast, dinner, snacks - were all amazing. Expensive but worth it!

Hotel Della Torre is a well-maintained, family-run hotel set just out of Stresa town centre and only 150 metres from Lake Maggiore. Enjoy pretty lake views from the gardens. Perfect stay. The Reception works always so not a problem if you come here at night. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was perfect.

Hotel Regina Palace is a majestic Art Nouveau building offering refined classic-style interiors and a large garden with pool. It is right on the shore of Lake Maggiore, in Stresa. Beautiful opulent building and surrounds. We enjoyed the indoor pool and spa and outdoor pool - so relaxing. And lovely to be served aperitifs on the terrace. Plenty of staff and very attentive service. Just a short stroll to restaurants and the ferry.

Hotel Royal is a family-run hotel located in a quiet area near Lake Maggiore, offering views of Borromeo Bay and the Alps. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Lovely family run hotel. Very helpful staff.

The intimate and modern Hotel Ancora is found on the shore of Lake Maggiore. Here you can experience an excellent, personalised service in a luxury, boutique hotel. The team was excellent especially Andreas Only issue was the bar next door on our last night was extremely loud and we requested that the police be called to report a noise violation
