The room had a kitchenette and a fridge. We took breakfast at the terrace on the roof, where we could view the sea. Stefano was a great host, advising us about restaurants and boat trips.

Offering private parking, the bed and breakfast is 800 metres from Castello Maniace. The property is 300 metres from Cala Rossa Beach, and within 70 metres of the city centre. We LOVED Il Salotto di Maria Pia! The rooms were nicely furnished and very quiet. The bathroom was modern and superb, loved the shower. The BEST part was that our room had a little balcony overlooking the Piazza Duomo (and I mean it was RIGHT on the piazza looking towards the cathedral that was built on the site of an Ancient Greek temple with columns still visible!) and there was a superb cafe for breakfast just outside the door. So the location was SUPERB. There is no traffic on the piazza either. Ortigia is very chill and quiet (definitely the best area to stay in Syracuse), and it was wonderful watching people wander by beneath our balcony. Our host Paola was very sweet and tried very hard to make sure everything was going well for us. She was very easy to stay in touch with via WhatsApp. Even though she was dealing with some family issues, she made sure to check in with us throughout our stay and made sure our room was tidied while we were out. Overall a great place to stay. Note this is not a hotel-type stay, but rooms in a building.

Set in the Ciane and Saline Nature Reserve, Hotel Borgo Pantano is located 7 km from Siracusa and the nearest beaches. It offers countryside views, a peaceful location and an outdoor swimming pool.

The friendly staff at the Borgo Pantano can help with local information. The hotel’s extensive grounds include a terrace with tables and chairs. Amazing staff. Fabrizio, Zaira and many others were super helpful at any demand. The owner/manager Giusi was always there helping out with hints and a constant eye for every detail. Breakfast is superb. I can defintely tell that the pictures at Booking.com do not demonstrate well enough how beautifully set is the property. The pool is huge and "resort-like" which is super-handy for the ferocious Sicilian summer heat, however it was never full of people. Just perfect. Spacious and clean rooms.

Set on Ortigia Island overlooking the Ionian Sea, Algilà Ortigia Charme is right on the seafront. It features elegant, air-conditioned rooms equipped with antique furnishings from the 1700s. WiFi here is free. The property was charming and well decorated, located right in front of the ocean. Very close to everything. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable.

The "Amunì Cocktail Bar & Restaurant" serves new and traditional Sicilian recipes. Drinks are served at the bar and can be enjoyed in Piazza Minerva square. Location, staff extremely kind.

Each room at Giuggiulena is large and comfortable, with air conditioning, a minibar and a TV with satellite and pay-per-view channels. All rooms overlook the Ionian Sea; some rooms have a balcony. The best room to stay in Siracusa if you want to watch the sea first thing in the morning. Just one step from the room, you jump into the water directly. Very special place. Highly recommended

A charming, small hotel, Musciara Siracusa Resort is opposite Ortigia Island, facing the sea and a short stroll from a rocky beach. Beach loungers and parasols are provided for free.

Musciara Resort is set in a former tuna fishery next to the Porto Piccolo marina and is decorated with marble and pillars. It exceeded my expectations in every aspect—service, vibe, decoration, food, everything! The tranquility of this place is so addictive, I couldn’t bring myself to leave. Thank you so much.
