Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). Wat een fijne plek is dit zeg! De sfeer is heel goed, we hadden een geweldige kamer met mooi uitzicht. In de gemeenschappelijke ruimte kijk je uit op de prachtige tuin. Het ontbijt en diner wat wordt aangeboden is erg gastvrij. This really is the quintessential Japanese Ryokan experience. You get a yukata when you arrive and you're free to walk around the hotel or even outside with it. I highly recommend bathing in the hot springs; I hiked to the top of Mount Misen in the day, and relaxing the sore muscles in the hot spring in the evening really was divine! Dinner was amazing; absolutely delicious and you could tell how much passion they put into creating it.

There are only a few rooms, which makes it super private and comfortable. The staff is exceptionally friendly. The rooms are spacious and super clean and comfortable. They even provide free coffee in the lobby. Location is superb, just 3min walking from the ferry port (but still super quiet and peaceful)

ITSUKUSHIMA IROHA is located in Miyajima’s Omotesando Avenue, a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shinto Shrine and Miyajima Pier. Prachtige ruime kamers met uitzicht op zee en de shrine, heerlijke onsen met uitzicht op de shrine. Heerlijk eten. Goed ontbijt. Fantastische lounge mrt gratis drinken, wijn en snacks. Heerlijk ontbijt. Loopafstand dorpjes, bezienswaardigheden. Echt een aanrader

Sakuraya is gerenoveerd in 2013 en biedt betaalbare kamers in Japanse stijl met uitzicht op de bergen of de zee. Er is gratis WiFi beschikbaar in de openbare ruimtes. Great location, and straight to the water.they had access to a public bath and the staff was friendly. Good and traditional rooms.

Hiroshima Washington Hotel offers accommodations with free WiFi access. Hatchobori Tram Station is a 5-minute walk and Hiroshima Station is a 15-minute tram ride away. Perfect location to walk to local sites and lots of shopping & food around. When making the booking, it seemed as though breakfast was included but at check in that wasn't the case. We did pay for breakfast 1 day but it wasn't my favorite. The yogurt was incredible, the little jello thing was so good and I enjoyed some rice and salmon but the rest of the offerings weren't to my taste.
