Mitsui Garden Hotel Kumamoto is a 20-minute walk from Kumamoto Castle and a 5-minute drive from JR Kumamoto Station. It offers modern accommodation with a cafe, massage services and free internet. The hotel was great. Excellent location, a very large room compared to what is common in Japan and comfortable. The staff was pleasant and happy to help with anything needed. Highly recommended.

Mooi, luxe kamer. Bij binnenkomst op de begane grond kom je direct binnen in een stijlvolle entree. De mensen bij de receptie zijn vriendelijk en doen hun best met de Engelse taal (maar kan soms een beetje behelpen zijn). De sky spa op de 12e verdieping is heerlijk, bijvoorbeeld na een dagje Mount aso. De locatie is goed, met een ligging op 5 minuten van het busstation, 2 minuten van de tram en middenin het bruisende centrum van Kumamoto met tal van winkels en restaurants. zeker een aanrader dus.
