We loved everything about staying at Matsui Honkan and look forward to the next time we can visit. The whole property is well taken care of, with beautiful traditional features and peaceful classical music playing throughout. There is a high level of attention to detail with thoughtful touches, such as an origami crane to greet you, pjs to wear, and a special treat for our honeymoon. A true highlight was the incredibly kind and cheerful staff. They make this place truly special! We also loved the onsen, what a gorgeous place and a real treat. Best place we’ve ever stayed!

Staff were super kind though I did mistake while doing the booking they are kind enough to wait, ambience, tea ceremony and breakfast gave Japanese vibe.
