This is the most wonderful place! Very nice and helpful staff, very good food, large, clean and comfortable rooms. Excellent location to start an early morning hike to the Tenjoyama Park.

Located on a hilltop and overlooking Lake Kawaguchi, the hotel serves French dinner with an advance reservation. I did not have breakfast but everything else was perfect. Location is great compared to the price. Staffs are warm and helpful.

It features traditional Japanese cuisine served in the dining area, suites with in-room hot springs and a garden. Quiet and comfortable space. Delicious Japanese-style breakfast. The staff is very professional, friendly, enthusiastic, attentive (I am very impressed with the staff named Son).

Sleeping arrangements are Japanese-style, with futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor. Parking is free. The atmosphere of this small village tucked away in the mountains is truly unique. You can feel a soothing calm, especially after visiting big cities like Tokyo, Kyoto, or Osaka. The lady who welcomed us was incredibly kind — she lent us bicycles for a short ride and recommended a lovely little restaurant that was delicious. When we left, she even drove us to Kawaguchiko Station. Everything was perfect; we’ll definitely come back.

Was greeted by staff at check-in time and they kindly transferred the luggage to my room. I booked a Japanese style room, and they gave me a brief room tour and information on the facilities and shuttle service. Very spacious room and with a nice view of the kawaguchiko lake.

It offers a public bath, a Japanese restaurant and free WiFi access. Location: Excellent! Only walking distance from the Kawaguchiko Station. Room: Simple room with traditional Japanese style. The mattress and futon make us comfort. View: Excellent view. We can see Fujiyama clearly. Extra: The host was soooooooooooo nice, friendly and helpful. Love the way he served us.
