We arrived by car and found organized parking right in front of the hotel. The staff warmly welcomed us, took photos of us with the cherry blossoms and Mount Fuji, and then handled our luggage. Check-in was very clear and detailed, and our room had a stunning view of the lake and Fuji — absolutely beautiful! The location was excellent, and the traditional Japanese breakfast was both delicious and a memorable experience. We truly enjoyed our stay and even felt a bit sad that we didn’t have an extra day there. Highly recommended!

The host is very friendly and welcoming. He let us know the places and restaurants nearby we could enjoy during our stay. Mount Fuji view from the villa is superb. Thank you for upgrading our cottage to superior one. The room is very spacious and clean. Don’t forget to enjoy the Onsen either late night or in the early morning too!

A 7-minute walk from Lake Kawaguchi, the 2-person cottages at Ururun have a quaint European charm and offer a spa bath with Mount Fuji views. We loved this accommodation and it was perfect for our family of 5. The host was so helpful and provided us with a very useful map of the area. The accommodation was clean and well thought out- we even had a hairdryer and useful items in the kitchen. The bedding was cozy, heating was good and I slept really well here. The view of Mount Fuji is incredible. We used a car to get around the area, as advised, and this worked well for us. Overall we would definitely recommend this accommodation and we would love to return. Wish we could have stayed here for longer!

K’s House Mount Fuji is a 19-minute walk from Kawaguchiko Train Station. It offers simple accommodation with free Wi-Fi, a free-use kitchen and spacious lounge in the popular Mount Fuji area. Having spent some time in a very small hotel room in Tokyo it was great to have plenty of room. There was a nice lounge area where we could talk to other guests and a spacious l, well equipped kitchen. There was a great supermarket just ten minutes walk away (Ogden). Lake Kawaguchi was about 400 yards away where we got a great view of Mount Fuji. So long as you are ok sharing the facilities with other guests, I would thoroughly recommend this place. I should mention that we stayed in a private room rather than a dormitory. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
