Sergent House ligt naast Unawatuna Beach en is gevestigd in een boetiekvilla met koloniale architectuur die dateert uit de jaren 1800. Een zeer smaakvol en comfortabel en met respect voor de lange geschiedenis van pand en tuin ingerichte oase in Unawatuna. Prachtige tuin, prachtige kamers, een heerlijk zwembad en een privé strand met deckchairs. Niet te vergeten een geweldig ontbijt, vers bereid met echt vers fruit (vergeet niet de curd te proeven) en lekkere koffie. Zorgzaam personeel. Onvergetelijk!

Sri Lankaans architectonisch meesterwerk Dunes Unawatuna hotel is een milieuvriendelijk boetiekhotel in de buurt van het prachtige strand Unawatuna (100 meter / 5 minuten lopen). We stayed at the hotel, in room 12, for 5 days in November 2025. The hotel is wonderful—a quiet oasis on a busy street, with everything nearby, including shops, cafes, and massage parlors. The beach is a 5-minute walk away. The hotel staff is extremely friendly, the room is authentic, there is a lot of greenery around, everything works, the plumbing is new, the beds are comfortable, and there are no mosquitoes. We will be sure to come back again!

Deze accommodatie in Sri Lanka is ingericht in koloniale stijl, kijkt uit op de wallen en ligt op slechts 500 meter van het nationaal museum van Galle. Er is gratis WiFi in het hele gebouw. I wish I could stay here longer! Not only is the accomodation clean, beautiful and in the best location, the staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly. I’d highly recommend booking far in advance so you get the best room upstairs overlooking the ocean! The staff are very attentive and warm and made me feel at home (even when I was feeling quite homesick!) You’re also in the perfect location and walking distance to Galle Lighthouse and the main road with all sorts of cafes and trinket shops! As a female solo traveller this is the perfect stay and I’ve felt very safe the whole time

Club Villa ligt slechts 1 minuut lopen van Bentota Beach, en biedt een buitenzwembad en massagebehandelingen. De kamers met airconditioning zijn verfraaid met handgeweven batiks en schilderijen. this was a last minute booking, and we loved it so much !!! the place was superb, so peaceful, comfortable and loved the design aesthetic. It was a real treat to stay in a Bawa designed property. The garden and pool area was lovely and the restaurant and all the staff did a wonderful job.
