El Aliya Resort and Spa - Thema Collection está rodeado de vegetación tropical. The view is outstanding. The hotel reception is perched on top of stairs with breathtaking view of the rock. The swimming pool also has an amazing view. Loved the vibe of the hotel, the room was very nice (nicer than i expected from the pictures!). The staff was very nice. We had buffet dinner and buffet breakfast and were very satisfied. The location is good, close enough to the rock to do it at sunrise then come back to the hotel to enjoy a nice breakfast.

El hotel Sigiriya se encuentra dentro del Triángulo Cultural de Sri Lanka, declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO. A stunning hotel with breathtaking views and a beautiful pool. The staff is incredibly sweet, the breakfast is delicious, and the evenings are made even better with pleasant music. I love this place!

El Dambulla Rock Arch es un bed and breakfast histórico de Sri Lanka, que cuenta con zona de estar cubierta por un dosel de plantas tropicales y se halla a 3,1 km del templo de la cueva de Dambulla. What a marvelous find! Utterly charming accommodation just off the main road, but open to farmland at the back and surrounded by a lovely garden. You would never guess you are in the centre of a busy town. The rooms are probably the best we stayed in during our trip (including much more expensive hotels). Lovely comfortable bed with mosquito net tent. There is a separate kitchen area with a small fridge, kettle and tea/coffee supplies and plates and cutlery. There is also a space with a luggage rack and place to hang clothes. The bathroom is large with premium fittings and hot water. There is a nice terrace with chairs out front and even a little yard at the back with a washing line. The breakfast area is so lovely, partially open with a fish pond. And the breakfast was superb. Beautifully home cooked Sri Lankan food, with European options too. The family are very sweet and helpful and arranged a tour to Sigiriya, followed by an elephant safari at Minneriya. Absolutely wonderful. No hesitation in recommending this lovely place.

Este bungalow de los años 30 se extiende por una plantación de té de casi 40 hectáreas, al pie de la cordillera de Knuckles. I will carry this magical place in my memories for my whole life. Extremely stylish tea estate that seems suspended in time and space.. me and my girlfriend just couldn’t stop taking pictures with our camera all around the property! They have a breathtaking veranda where you can enjoy your meals, especially the dinner at sunsets.. a charming swimming pool, marvelous rooms and a private waterfall!! Amila, the manager is one of the nicest and most professional persons I have the privilege to met during my time in Sri Lanka took very good care of us and I recommend not to miss the tea plantation tour and tea tasting with Mr. Das, the historic memory of this beautiful place. What else to add? Two nights weren’t enough but that’s a good reason to go back!

El Arika goza de unas vistas relajantes a la vegetación de los alrededores y tiene una piscina al aire libre y una sauna. Dispone de cómodas habitaciones con aire acondicionado y terraza privada. Great stay, Mr. Nish and his team went out of their way to take care of us. The food was excellent, we even extended our stay by a night!
