Ryad Bab Berdaine

A 15-minute walk from Bab Mansour Door, Ryad Bab Berdaine offers B&B accommodation with free Wi-Fi. It features a terrace with panoramic views of the Medina and a patio with traditional wall tiles and pot-planted plants. If you go to Meknès don't even thing about it. It is the perfect place. Beautiful and well located. But overall the owner is a fantastic person, very friendly and helpful. Thanks

The building has been restored in an Andalusian style, using hand-made mosaics and sculpted plaster. Each guest room is uniquely decorated, has air conditioning and includes free Wi-Fi access. Some rooms have a private terrace. This gorgeous riad is just steps from a street allowing taxi access and a pleasant walk to core destinations within the Meknes medina. The manager, Hassan, could not have been kinder or more helpful -- a million thanks! Wonderful food (generous breakfast and dinner), wine available if desired, comfortable room (the locally embroidered sheets were a sheer joy!), lovely roof-top terraces, clear attention to the details of decor and comfort. Wonderful!

Riad Yacout, which dates from 1830, offers a patio with a pond and a solarium on its terrace. It is located in the heart of the Meknes Medina, a 2-minute walk from El Heddim Place, the Bab Mansour Gate and Moulay Ismail Mausoleum.
The guest rooms and suites at the Riad Yacout are spacious and air-conditioned. They include a flat-screen TV with cable channels, en suite facilities and authentic decor.
The palace of the Riad D´Or is a beauty itself, only by walking in you are already in a special place. The breakfast was very generous and tasty. Staying with Zakia felt like staying with a local friend or family! She was the most kind and welcoming person. We didn’t speak the same language but that didn’t matter the slightest, we could always make ourselves understood with a little help of google. If you want to experience how locals really live in Morocco, this is the perfect opportunity. The creative traditional interior design by itself is an experience worth taking. We were also served wonderful breakfast and our additional requests were fulfilled without any extra charge.

Riad is perfectly located in the heart of the Medina, although if you come by car it’s not a problem at all, there is a guarded parking (20 dirham per night) 5 minutes away and you don’t need to drive through the narrow streets to get there. Juliette is an excellent host, communication was perfect, she quickly answered all our questions. The interior design is beautiful and keeps the soul of the place, rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable and it’s quiet at night. For those travelling during winter, it was also warm.

The patio is very spacious and green. Moreover, a big rooftop terrace adds another charming space to the hotel. Even though we had a room on the ground floor, we enjoyed our stay very much. looks like the Riad was recently renovated. Overall very good value for money in comparison to other Riads in Morocco. Very detailed touch on the interior design choice. You can tell that someone with a good taste owns this place
